A KISS FROM CHILE 

Dear Family,

One of the great pleasures of serving as Program Coordinator at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Delaware in Wilmington was the chance to meet and work with both Martha and Jay as instructors.  They enthusiastically shared their love of life through teaching yoga and music at Osher.  They literally touched thousands of members over their long tenure as members.  I remember fondly visiting both of them at the their home and how proud they were of sharing the story of how they met, their early years together and the wonderful family they had.  Visiting Martha in the home after Jay passed away was inspirational, too, as she demonstrated great fortitude in continuing with her love of life and music.  They are missed!

I am not ready to let you go.  So much of everyday life will remind me of your wit and wisdom.  I think of you as I consume more stevia and less of that "white death" sugar.  You saw my strengths and shortcomings and conveyed your love and acceptance for all of me.  I will sing with all my heart in your memory and one day I will play the fiddle for you.  In the Navajo tradition, I will trust you are in the clouds as they pass overhead.  With love always to you and Jay, Sarah

Martha is greatly missed here at The Fountains.  Here cheery greetings, warm hugs and kind words were a great addition.  She was loved by many even though her time here was short.

Our thoughts and prayers for all of you to find the strength together to bear the loss.
